"The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all"

I was born in Manhattan, New York, moved to Houston, Texas, moved to El Monte, California, moved to East&West San Jose, and now I am living at Davis. From all the change I found the one thing that kept me centered, my artwork. I was raised by a first generation chinese immigrant single mother- she is the epiphany of the underdog. I have an older sister who will buy me my first laptop so I can stay in school. I was the first in my family to go to a four year university, at UC Davis. I value fitness and health. Specifically, weight training is my weapon of choice. I will never turn down a frozen yogurt or cheesecake offer. I am a friend who will drive you to the airport at five in the morning, no questions asked. I am a fan of great story telling-like how Michelle Phan who uses Youtube and makeup to redefine beauty beyond the standards of society or how UP unfolds Ellie and Carl’s everlasting love story. I am constantly inspired by underdogs, like the people around me, my family, children raised in underprivileged communities, and women who go into leadership roles.
